A way to claim Authorship of your Site
I spent an hour and a half this morning trying to figure out the best way to claim authorship of this website. This of course is a complicated issue even for coders as Google does not yet have their act together. Here is a link that helped some – Google Now Supports Author Tag
Anyway I went looking for my Google profile and found to my horror they had it listed as ccolkay – now I am not ccolkay and I don’t know where they got that. I am coolkay or KarenRiedl or KRiedl but NOT ccolkay. Investigation into the Google profile area proved they would not let me change it. Now of course I could maybe delete the profile and start over? Phooey! with that. What I did was go to this link g.Plus.is and take my google ID and input it and added my name on the right. You can check your sites authorship with the Google Authorship Verification Tool.
